HI! I'M JUSTINE.
Justine Law was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Embracing her Chinese American identity, she began her art education studying Chinese watercolor painting as a young girl and studied for 8 years. She combined this foundation with western style arts as she studied art practice and media studies at UC Berkeley (2016).
Justine is now completing her MFA in Production Design at UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, which she will receive in Spring 2021. Her background in fine art and mass media communications has given her a strong foundation to tailor to specific audiences while keeping the creative integrity of a project intact.
She approaches all projects holistically, with a strong focus centered on the characters. She considers how every detail, large or small, fits together to tell one complete story - whether it be graphic design, paint treatment, set dressing, or props. Justine believes the detail is what injects unique life into a visually cohesive world.
